COMMUNITY PROVISIONS

CENTRAL AFRICAN ECONOMIC AND MONETARY COMMUNITY (CEMAC) REGULATIONS RELATING TO FOREIGN TRADE

In its objectives, the CEMAC Treaty defines the full realization of the CEMAC common market, the promotion of national markets through the elimination of obstacles to intra-Community trade, coordination of development programs, harmonization of industrial projects, creation of a true African common market. In addition to the Customs Code, regulations and acts that govern trade in the CEMAC are :

 

  Regarding regulations

-          Regulation No. 08/06-UEAC-028-CM-14 adopting the revised CEMAC Customs Regulation

-          Regulation No. 16/03-CEMAC-1368-CM-11approving updating the CEMAC Common External Tariff (CET) according to the 2002 version of the Harmonized System (HS)

-          Regulation No. 05/01-UEAC-097-CM-06 revising the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC) Customs Code (link is external)
